Lok Swasthya Health Cooperative
Shree Gujarat Mahila Lok Swasthya SEWA Sahakari Mandali Ltd (LSM) is a Gujarat based, women-owned women-run enterprise that manufactures Ayurvedic products including a range of natural haircare, skin care and immunity builders. LokSwasthya has a membership of 1544 women and was started by SEWA to make healthcare accessible to informal women workers and provides comprehensive health services to almost 150,000 women in the state of Gujarat. Apart from community health services, LokSwasthya also runs 24 hour low cost drug stores in Ahmedabad to make quality medicine available to women, and now runs an Ayurveda manufacturing unit and two Ayurveda comprehensive health centres.
Abodana Handicraft Cooperative
Abodana Cooperative, is a Gujarat based women’s handicraft cooperative with 309 women artisans as members. Originally a block-print cooperative, over the years Abodana has diversified and also practises other traditional art forms such as appliqué, patchwork, ari embroidery, badla, ajrakh among several others, and over the last couple of years has been focusing on developing a line of products that are zero-waste, upcycled and earth friendly. Each of their products are hand-made and hand-crafted.

Trupti Dry Snacks and Catering Cooperative
Trupti Cooperative is an Ahmedabad based urban cooperative with a membership of 106 women. It is a women’s cooperative that was promoted and supported by SEWA Cooperative Federation in 1994. They handcraft local, traditional snacks, with the best quality ingredients while offering a sustainable livelihood opportunity for women. Apart from this, they offer catering services to government offices and other large institutions and run canteens for several offices.
